"Planning for Growth Progress Report" Meetings January 10 & 16, 2007

On the evenings of January 10 and 16, 2007, the Unit 5 Board of Education hosted public meetings to report on progress to date in ongoing preparations to meet the growth needs of the district resulting from continuing increases in student enrollment.

Both meetings featured presentations regarding: population and enrollment projections; facility needs projections; architectural investigations and cost estimates; financial projections for operating funds; issues in need of further investigation and study; and possible referenda and project timelines. Additionally, both meetings included time for public questions and comments.
