Welcome students and Parents!
Learning a foreign language can be an exciting experience, especially
when the new language is used in a variety of ways. During our
year together we interact in Spanish with listening, speaking, reading
and writing activities, and even do some role-playing too. The 7th grade textbook is titled, En Espanol. We cover Units 1 & 2 in 7th grade and Units 3 & 4 are covered in 8th grade. The following is a list of methods students will learn this year: Unit 1 Etapa 1 *Greet others, introduce others, say where people are from, express likes Unit 1 Etapa 2 *Describe others, give other's likes & dislikes, describe clothing Unit 1 Etapa 3 *Describe family, ask & tell ages, talk about birthdays, give dates, express possession Unit 2 Etapa 1 *Describe classes & classroom objects, say how often you do something, discuss obligations Unit 2 Etapa 2 *Talk about schedules, ask & tell time, ask questions, say where you are going, request food Unit 2 Etapa 3 *Discuss plans, sequences events, talk about places & people you know |
