CAC Seeking Membership Applications

Applications for at-large members to serve on Unit 5’s Citizens Advisory Council (CAC) are currently being accepted. At-large members must reside in Unit 5 and cannot have children enrolled in any Unit 5 school while serving as a CAC member.

The CAC acts in an advisory capacity to the Unit 5 Board of Education, serves as a liaison between the community and the Board and participates in educational planning regarding the school district. CAC participants attend approximately five general membership meetings each year, as well as serve on various committees. The term of membership is no more than five years.

Application materials may be picked up at the Unit office, 1809 W. Hovey in Normal, and are available online. Please return applications by July 18.

For information call Dayna Brown, Assistant to the Superintendent, at 454-2850.
