School Lunch Program
School lunch provides a nutritionally balanced meal so
students are ready to learn. Meals for Unit 5 schools are
planned with the goal of providing students with one-third
of their Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA) for key nutrients
and calories. By offering students a variety of foods, school
lunch promotes good nutrition habits.
- Prices
Elementary meals are $1.60 each for students and $2.10
for adults.
Junior and Senior high school meals are $1.65 for students
and $2.15 for adults.
- Free and Reduced Meals
Students may qualify for free or reduced meals. Eligibility
is based on the gross income of all household members.
Applications for free and reduced meals are available
in all school offices. Reduced price lunches are $0.40.

We are excited to announce that parents can now add money
to their school meal account online through the Skyward
Family Access parent portal they currently use.
Parents can now add money to their student’s lunch account
while sitting at their computer from home or work at any
time of the day. If the account balance is low, it only
takes a few minutes to add money to the meal account using
your debit or credit card. There is a $1.00 convenience
fee added when using this service.
Once the parent has determined how much they want to
deposit into their meal account in Skyward Family Access,
the payment is then processed by the company RevTrak. When
the transaction is approved, the money will appear in the
food service account in Family Access a few seconds later.
If you are a Chiddix Jr. High parent and created an account
in May, you will be a returning customer.
The following link provides a demonstration for using
Family Access and RevTrak:

account online. Previously only staff with Skyward Family
Access were able to utilize this service.
Currently, staff can add money between $25.00 and $100.00.
There is a $1.00 service charge for each purchase. MasterCard
