Multiplying by 7

Count by 7's!  You are more than half way done learning the facts, so now you have less facts to learn!  You already know up to 7 x 6, because you already learned 6 x 7.   

Look at the picture below:

There are 7 apples on each tree, and Mike's yard has 5 apple trees.  How many apples does Mike have?

The multiplication problem would be 7 x 5 = 35

The array shows five trees with seven apples each, for a total of 35 apples
