Multiplying by 8

You are almost there!  You only need to learn 2 facts for the eights, because you have already learned the beginning facts.  8 x 9 and 8 x 10 are all that are new to you!  

Look at the picture below to help you count if you need to:

There are eight petals on a flower.  If you have six flowers in your garden, how many petals do you have?

The multiplication problem would be 8 x 6 = 48

The picture shows eight petals per flower, six flowers in all, for a total of 48 petals
