I received my Bachelor's degree in elementary education from Illinois State University in 2005.   This will be my 5th year teaching.  I taught my first 3 years in 3rd grade at Oakdale Elementary and this past year I taught 2nd grade for 1 year at Parkside Elementary.  I am very excited to be returning back to Oakdale and to be teaching 4th grade this school year!   My husband, Mike, is an assistant baseball coach at Illinois State University.  We have been married for 2 years.  We both grew up in Bloomington/Normal and are fortunate to have both of our families living in town!   A few things about me... I am currently working towards earning my Master's Degree in Reading from ISU.    I am the PBIS Universal Team Co-Leader with Mrs. Brigham. I am involved with the SMART team as a grade level representative at Oakdale, as well as the school representative for the district.
