We love celebrating birthdays in fourth grade!  Your child is welcome to bring in a special treat to celebrate his/her birthday, but please send a note as the day approaches so I can plan accordingly.  When choosing the type of treat to send, please try to make distribution as easy as possible, and keep it simple.  Items that need to be cut at school such as a large cookie or cake don’t work well in the classroom setting.  Cookies, cupcakes, or other individually wrapped items are great!! Please send all necessary items to serve the snack (plates, cups, napkins, forks, etc.).  If your child has a summer birthday, please send treats on their half birthday to make sure they are not overlooked in our celebrations!

If your child has birthday invitations to pass out, please have them mail them or pass them out outside of the school hours.  To cut down on distractions in the classroom the students will not be allowed to pass them out in the classroom.
