Chiddix Charger State Qualifiers

 

IIn the 135-pound weight class, Jake Kretlow earned a 2nd place medal in the Sectional Tournament.  Jake enters the State competition with a record of 24 – 5. 

 

In the 145-pound weight class, Austin Kull dominated the tournament as he became the Sectional Champion.  Austin was also a Sectional Champion and state qualifier last year in the 119-pound weight class.  Austin enters the State competition with a record of 22 – 1. 

 

 

Wish Austin and Jake good luck as they head to Dekalb on Friday to the State Wrestling Tournament.

Directions: From I-39: Exit I-39 to I-88 East. Travel on I-88 East to the Annie Glidden Road exit. From Annie Glidden Road head West on Route 38 (Lincoln Highway) to the Convocation Center entrance.

 

Times:  We will leave Friday morning from school.  A time schedule of events is attached.  Doors open at 3:30pm on Friday and 8:30 am on Saturday.

 

Admission: Daily Fees    

K-8 & Senior Citizens = $4.00

                                    Adults - $7.00

 

 

Hotel:  We are staying in the Holmes Student Center guest rooms on the NIU campus in DeKalb. The phone number is (815) 753-1444. 

 

Parking: $5.00.  A parking map is attached.  Lots open at 1:30 p.m. on Friday and 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.  Be sure not to park in reserved lots!

 

T-shirts: An order form is attached.  I can order these in advance and pick them up on Friday.  Fill out the form as shown and include payment made out to CJHS.  These orders must be turned in to me by Tuesday at practice!
