	The Chiddix Math Counts team competed against 41 of the top teams in Illinois Saturday, March 3rd and finished 6th, tying the top finish for any Chiddix team. With over 240 individuals competing, Lawrence Li led the Chargers with a 9th place finish. Congratulations, Math Counts team!

	Congratulations to Helen, the winner of the 2007 CJHS Spelling Bee and Jake, spelling bee alternate. Helen will represent our school at the McLean County Spelling Bee on Thursday, March 1st at 9:30 a.m. at Illinois Wesleyan University. Good luck, Helen.
	Congratulations to the 7th Grade Basketball Team who finished their season as Regional Champions! The 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team are also Regional Champs! Great season, Chargers!
	Congratulations to the 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team AND to the 7th Grade Boys Basketball Team on winning the 2007 Intercity Championship at each grade level! Great job, Chargers!
	December Assembly and PBIS Awards Our winter assembly was held on Friday, December 22. Chargers enjoyed performances by the Jazz Band and Chorus. Guest speakers Mrs. Aves, Coach Venerable and NCHS football players and cheerleaders were very inspiring. 	The FCCLA displays the Christmas stockings they made for December babies born at Bromenn Hospital.
	The Jazz Band greeted Chargers with great holiday music as they entered the building on Thursday, December 14th.
	December 7, 2006 was the launch date for Game On! @ CJHS IMC. Study hall students entered a random drawing to visit the IMC to play a variety of games. Stay tuned for a new Game On! each month.
