Inflatable Fun Night - Friday, September 10th Mark your calendar!! The first fun night has been scheduled for Friday, September 10 from 3:15 to 5:30pm in the gym. It is the inflatable fun night – jousting, bouncing, tunnels, races, and fun music. The cost is only $4.00. Pizza, pop, and gondolas will also be available to purchase that night. Tickets go on sale before school from this Friday, 9/3 to Thursday, 9/9. Buy your ticket early. We SOLD out last year. |

Dropping a Music Class If a parent/guardian wishes that a student drop his/her music class, the counseling office must be notified by Monday, September 7th. No drops will occur after that date. |

Girls Basketball Tryouts Girls Basketball tryout dates are Monday September 13th and Tuesday 14th from 5 to 7 pm. More information will be announced soon. |

PTO Positions Needed Hospitality/Teacher Appreciation Coordinator: This person OR committee would organize bi-monthly or quarterly activities that show our staff at Chiddix how much we appreciate them! Past activities include breakfast, lunch or treats for the staff. Besides planning the events, other tasks include coordinating volunteers to bring items, and set up or clean up after the activities. Secret Pal Coordinator: We are looking for someone to shadow our current coordinator for the 2010-2011 school year and then take over the position the following year. Families and staff members that participate in the program are paired up in October. A final reveal party is held in April or May. Besides these two activities, the coordinator forwards any correspondence back to families throughout the school year.
