  • Athletic Participation

    When a student has a desire to try out for a sport, he/she should report to the main office to receive an athletic clearance slip (the gold slip). The gold slip must be handed to the coach before the athlete may participate or try out for that sport. CLICK LINK ABOVE FOR COMPLETE INFORMATION AND GOLD SLIP REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES.

  • Gold Slip Information

    Gold Slips will be available for pick up from the Chiddix Main Office during the following summer hours only: May 28 – June 7 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. July 24 – August 5 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. No gold slips will be available from Monday, June 10 through Tuesday, July 23.

  • Softball 2013-2014

    Gold slips will be available in the Chiddix main office on Monday, July 29th between 7:45 a.m. and 12:00 noon. Tryouts for the Lady Charger Softball season will be held on Tuesday, July 30th, Wednesday, July 31st, and Thursday, August 1st. Times for 8th grade tryouts will be from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. Times for 6/7th grade tryouts will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. ***Please note that tryouts for Lady Charger Softball will be held at the Anderson Park softball field. The field is located west of the Anderson Park pool in Normal.

  • Baseball 2013-2014

    Information collection and gold slip collection will be held on Monday, August 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Tryouts will be held on Tuesday, August 6th, Wednesday, August 7th, and Thursday, August 8th. Times for 8th grade tryouts will be from 8:00 – 10:30 a.m. Times for 6/7th grade tryouts will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

  • Cross Country 2013-2014

    The first practice will be held on Monday, August 5th beginning at 7:00 a.m. Meet behind Chiddix Junior High School on the track. The parent meeting for the fall cross country season will be held on Thursday, August 8th at 5:30 p.m. For more information check the cross country website at www.unit5.org/cjhsrunning/

PTO Update

Thank you to all of our families for participating in our school support opportunities.
 
PTO Meeting Schedule for 2013-2014: September 9, November 11, January 13, March 10, and May 12. 
These are all Monday evenings at 7:00 in the Chiddix IMC.  
All parents are welcome!                             
 
We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that we are accepting "Unraiser" donations. Suggested donation is $25 per family. The money is spent on programs that directly benefit our students. We have currently raised much less than expected this year and hope that you will consider participating.
 
 
box top The PTO is now collecting BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION. You will find these Box Top labels on products from Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, Cheerios, Hamburger Helper, Juicy Juice, Hefty, Kleenex, and Ziploc brands. Simply cut out the Box Top label and send them with your student. A collection box is located in the main office. We will update you at the end of the year as to how much money we have raised and what program we supported with the proceeds.
