Scientific Method
The scientific method is an algorithm or system used to solve problems. It relies on making educated guesses based on observations. It is never done the same way twice. The basic steps are outlined below:
Observations
Hypothesis
Experimentation
- Controlled (one variable changed at a time)
- Collect data (quantitative and qualitative)
- Analyze data (graphs, statistics...trends)
Form valid conclusions
After many experiments...form a theory
