  • School Pictures
    School Picture Day is Tuesday, September 23rd.  Picture packets and payment should be sent to school by Tuesday morning,  All students will have their photograph taken, even if families are not purchasing a packet, as these photos will be used in the class composites and in the yearbook.  Picture packets will arrive at Benjamin approximately 3 weeks from our picture date.

  • Avanti's Dine to Donate 
    The event will be on September 22nd and will run from 11:00 am to 10:00pm. 20% of each sale will be donated to Benjamin PTO. Click here to find the flyer that MUST be presented at the time of purchase. Each family must have this flyer in order for their purchase to be counted towards our donation.

  • EJHS Cheer and Dance Clinic 
    The cheer-leading and dance teams at EJHS are having a clinic and performance for elementary school students. The clinic will be on October 7th from 5PM-7PM at EJHS and the performance will be at a home basketball game on October 9th. The participants will receive a shirt along with their registration fee. We ask that the participation forms and money be at EJHS by September 15th. Please see the attached flyer for all additional information.

  • September Lunch Menu Changes
    9/25 – Breakfast - Apple Breakfast Bar will be served instead of Strawberry Pop-Tart.  Upon looking at the ingredients, the pop-tart contains red food dye which we do our best to avoid at the elementary level.

  • Goodwill Drive to Victory September 8th-12th
    NCHS v. West
    Help NCHS top West by donating items to Goodwill. All donations can be dropped off to the POD at the front entrance of NCHS starting Monday, September 8th up until Noon on Friday, September 12th. The school with the most donations (by weight) will win $500 from CEFCU and a new SMART Board from Bradfield’s. The winner will be announced at the NCHS v. West Varsity Football game Friday night, September 12th.
    Items that will NOT be accepted include: Bean Bag Chairs, Carpet, TVs, Doors, Windows, Screens, Blinds, Light Fixtures, (De)Humidifiers, Broken Furniture, Baby Items, Major Appliances, Lawn Mowers, Lumber, Magazines/Newspapers/Encyclopedias, Mattresses/Box Springs, Old Exercise Equipment, Paint, Pianos, Scrap Metal, Sewing Machine Cabinets, Small Engine Equipment, Space Heaters, Tires, Toilets/Plumbing Fixtures, Waterbeds, Sofa Beds.

  • High School Football Games
    Elementary School and Middle School students are welcome to attend high school football games. Both the Ironmen and Wildcats appreciate the support of their young fans. If you attend this Friday night’s football game at Normal Community or Normal West please abide by following expectations to insure the safety and enjoyment of all who attend the game:
    1.   Elementary School and Middle School students must be accompanied to the game by a parent or guardian who will remain at the game while the student is in attendance.
    2.   Elementary School and Middle School students are expected to sit in the bleachers and watch the game or stand in the marked areas.
    3.   No footballs or other sports equipment will be allowed into the stadium.
    4.   The “Good Night” rule will apply. This means that you will not be allowed to return once you leave the entrance into the stadium.
    These rules are in effect as soon as you enter the stadium. Students who do not follow the rules will be required to leave. Your continued support and cooperation is appreciated
