Is your
child too sick for school?
Here are a few guidelines as to
when your child should stay home from school:

If your child has a temperature of 100.0
degrees or higher. Children should be fever-free for 24
hours (without the use of medication) before returning to
school.

If your child is experiencing episodes of
diarrhea and/or vomiting.
-
If your child’s eye(s) are severely red, burning, itching
and/or producing a whitish or yellow discharge.
-
If
your child has an uncontrolled cough.
-
If
your child has been prescribed antibiotics for an illness
and has taken less than three
doses.

It is always
best to consult with your child’s physician for further advice & medical
treatment.

call the above number if your child:

will
be arriving late to school due to illness or injury
-
will
be staying home from school due to illness or injury
-
requires an early dismissal from school
If your
child will be absent for more than two consecutive days please
request homework be sent to the main office.
