             SCRIP

Did you know you can earn money for the school by shopping at your favorite retailers and eating at your favorite restaurants? The SCRIP program allows you to support our school through your everyday purchases.  Towanda Elementary PTO will earn a percentage of each purchase.

Example:  This month you plan to shop at Kohl’s, will make at least one trip to the grocery store, plan on eating out 3-4 times and need to buy a couple birthday gifts.  You can buy gift cards through SCRIP for all these items and earn money for the school at the same time.

                Kohl’s                $100     earns   4%          $ 4.00

                Meijer                $100      earns   3%          $ 3.00

                Chili’s                 $ 25      earns  11%         $ 2.75

                Bob Evans          $20       earns  10%        $ 2.00

                B & N                  $ 50     earns   9%         $ 4.50

                                          $295                              $16.25

By planning ahead for purchases you were already going to make, you earned $16.25 for the school.
