Unit 5 is seeking at-large members to serve on the Citizens Advisory Council. It is the CAC’s mission to represent the Unit 5 community by fostering district-wide dialogue and examining topics of interest. The CAC is composed of parent representatives from each school attendance center, as well as at-large members who reside within the district, but do not have children attending Unit 5 schools during their term. If you are interested in serving on the Citizens Advisory Council for Chiddix please contact PTO President Sharon Miller at email@example.com.
Due to the low local supply of the Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine (MCV), all students entering 6th and 12th grade in Unit 5 schools will be allowed an extended deadline of October 15, 2015 for this vaccination ONLY. Students must meet all other required immunizations in order to attend the first day of school. Please contact your school principal or nurse should you have questions regarding this matter.
